[ENG] BLUE EARTH TAROT
REVIEW
Created by Alyson Davies from collages transformed into their blue state through the photographic cyanotype printing technique. The various shades of blue unfold across the Major Arcana, interwoven with surreal imagery and a profound sense of introspection.
The 22 Major Arcana evoke a wide range of emotions and dreamlike visions, where hands appear time and again as a recurring symbol. They emerge as early as The Magician: the card reveals a hand and part of an arm reaching to grasp—or perhaps release—what could be a balloon filled with the secrets and tricks of a conjurer.

The Empress presents her hands as if touching a sky-like gown scattered with stars. In The Emperor, the fingers blend into two crowns. In The Hierophant, we glimpse hands attempting to gather what may be falling drops. In Strength, part of a human figure appears with a tiger within, crowned by the image of the lemniscate. In Justice, hands return once more.
The Moon is one of the most figurative cards: a path leading toward the moon itself. This Tarot follows the Rider–Waite–Smith tradition in the placement of Strength as Major Arcana VIII and Justice as Major Arcana XI. A deck open to interpretation—one that awakens the versatility of the mind and invites deep symbolic exploration.
